I personally am listening to Sick Puppies' Tri-Polar. Thank god I didn't buy it, because it is good, but not THAT good.
I DID buy Deftones latest album Diamond Eyes, though. Solid record, there.
Kneel down, ye sinners,
To streetwise religion,
Greed's been crowned the new King
Hollywood dream teens, yesterdays trash queens,
save the blessing for the final ring,
AMEN!!!

But I wonder if some controversy will come from that...there was some accusations recently that some newer band (Theory of a Deadman, I think) ripped off the melody from Fire Woman by The Cult. Sometimes you can't help it if a song is similar to another.
I love The Cult, but TOAD sucks major balls.

Yeah right band, but wrong song. The opening verses are just exactly the same, I can't listen to it without singing the Sons song instead. Haha

We are not helpless, we are men
What lies between us
It can be set aside and ended.......
Ev'ryday we learn more how to hate
Shut the door
And then we tell ourselves we can't relate
Only to the ones who are the same
Yet even they are diff'rent
And ever so they shall remain.........
All are strangers, all are friends
All are brothers

One VERY talented musician! Who was part of a well know group in the late 60s early 70s. Other "names" that appear and play on this album include: Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, John Sebastian, Rita Coolidge, G.N., Booker T. Jones, D.C., Cass Elliot.....and one of my fav female "studio" backup singers.....Liza Strike. All in all.....a GREAT album and should be in everyone's collection.Who dat, Gray?

In case you didn't know Jimi Hendrix plays guitar on the track "Old times Good times" on that very album!
