Ever heard of Emperor cabs? Started as kind of a small, custom botique style thing...heard about them through Russian Circles, an instrumental metal-expirmental band...

Thanks Minno, I checked their website, lots of bands using their cabinets!

Thanks for posting. Like the phase shifter effect with mild distortion and then switching to just straight deep rhythm guitar. It sort of reminded me of playing thru my old Univibe which I still own.I want to say you've listened to a bit of Allan Holdsworth along with Jeff Beck in the past? ;)

Thanks, yup it is a UniVibe...
Heh yeah lots of Beck on my menu....
Dunno about the Allan part though, maybe we grew up on the same jazz stuff??
My dad had loads of classical and jazz records, the later was alot of sax and trumpet stuff...only way to get that vibe down is using alot of legato methinks...well I use it alot sometimes.

But I'm into the Gilmour, Rea, Hendrix, Beck side of the road, I love to improvise over those specific feels of music.

Amen brother! I still have a ton of Jazz discs. I have both Pink Floyd's Pulse and his later David Gilmour live at the Royal Albert Hall on video. Both of them are great performances especially the latter since it's Blu Ray and uncompressed audio.Great playing by the way!!!

Great one Dan!

No kidding, I'd just found the following (from that concert) on a tube surf and came to post it here.

That must have been an awesome concert!

Besides Back in Black, I never really could get into them with Brian Johnson. Damned shame Bon had to go away. :(

For Those About To Rock was solid too, but after that, until Ballbreaker...was a bit...crappy. I like all their music, but really only LOVE bits and pieces, and most of what I love was done with Bon.

If you like hard rock that is a little bit bluesy, Stiff Upper Lip is great.

Yea, Bon was God!!!

B)

Anyway.

Currently enjoying the latest Soulfly and Cannibal Corpse.

Also having a bit of a Ramones revival. I've pretty much had "Blitzkrieg Bop" on repeat in the car for the past week!!.....also some local Springbok Nude Girls (hugely underrated) and Foo's "The Colour and The Shape".
