Fucking lawyers... Uses the last minute and a half of that video to advertise...
As I'm sure I've said plenty of times. The first live-in-the-flesh road racing I saw was the '82 Daytona Superbike race. The Eddie and Freddie (Spencer) show. Lots of "burning tires" going on there.
I loved his description of the modern bikes, "computer generated guided missiles" (or similar).

1,000 - he said 9-12. But yeah, the only 250 I ever rode, an old G model, was noting, nothing, nothing, SOMETHING. I give myself great credit in that I didn't stall it (like everyone else who tried it).

Last time I checked the modern GP bikes start their power band at 9500! I cannot imagine trying to ride something like that.

Thanks for that Minno, good interview. He doesn't look a day older than when I saw him at that Suzuka GP in '93 (the only one I had a V.I.P. pass for and the only time I got to see him race live).
And I love his view of what needs to be done to the bikes now... take off the gizmos.
