Hope the weather improves... but after watching the Assen WSBK round... maybe it will be better if it continues to pour! lol
Knowing GP though, they'll probably cancel it.

Rain and thunderstorms through to Monday.
Again, some of the best racing I've seen in years was in horrible conditions at Assen last weekend. Time for the CRT boys to get wild!

And yes Max, taillights are new this season.

He's upset about tire wear, but who knows if the race will bring similar conditions?
Most of the teams seemed to stay out on the one set of wets to get a "feeling" of how they may have to perform in the race. Trying to save them for tomorrow, although I think they get an extra set since it is wet bringing it to five sets total.

And they have tail lights! First time I ever saw that... new for this year?
Yes, another new rule. It's so the riders can see each other in poor visibility. It was talked about in the offseason and they tested them in one of the winter tests.

At first sight, I thought they were brake lamps! lol That would be horrible... used to scare the piss out of me instructing track days when some dude I was coming up on would suddenly light up his brake lamp (probably riding the rear brake) right in the middle of a straight section.

Crutchlow very impressive, same for Hayden. Rossi not so much.

As for the rest of QP, sucks having to put in fast laps on an iffy track with black clouds overhead. Cal was indeed impressive. Spies needs to sort his head out if he wants to keep that ride (though he did finally put it on the second row). Rossi... well. If he wasn't regretting his decision to go to Ducati before, he sure as hell should be by now.
