Paul Bird interviewed at Oulton today said that he's putting Shakey on the PBM bike in Le Mans for "a second opinion of the bike because James is whining too much"

The CRT's are all new and big POS compared to the factory prototypes at this stage.

Ellison might not be the fastest out there but he knows how to develop a bike. It was he that called the frame openness the Yamaha.

It's pretty clear that Byrne won't be taking over, can't hurt to have a little input. If Shakey hops on the thing and says it chatters like a mother it can only be good for Ellison.
