Kind of underwhelming until now. Germany seems to be the favorite at this point...

Portugal - Chech Rep
France - Spain

But doners (I can't make an umlaut) are pretty good!

They're not a patch in proper gyros. The stuff you in USA call gyros isn't the real stuff. Proper gyros is made like Doner. It's pork instead of lamb, roasted on a revolving spit. It's flavoured with garlic, oregano and other herbs. Served with tzatziki that makes your breath smell like an open stomach wound.
Delicious.

The only place I've had a gyro was in Canada, no idea what the meat was but the sauce was great. Anything calling itself Greek (or Chinese, Italian, Japanese, etc) in this area is generally a joke.

Worst game of the tournament. France, as they are likely to do, just surrendered.

Shite game

I fell asleep during the game. Pathetic effort by France.

I don't think italy will be able to match England's physical intensity for all 90 minutes today, so England to move on....to lose on penalty to Germany as always

A nice article on 2 different football cultures (Italy and England): http://www.independe...rt-7878651.html

In my opinion Hart is the best goalie England has since many years! Just saw a short video that he's able to keep penalties AND he can shoot penalties, too.
