-The fact that they neutered one of the best racetracks in the championship.
No races for me this year (other than on the Tele). I have a newborn (yes Tobes...at my age) and won't have the time or the money.
The wife and I are hoping to be able to ride down to Monterey again for the race next year (though I'd much rather see them race at a proper track for fast motorcycles - Miller? - then watch them at Laguna.

Laguna for me, Tornadiac Casa once again....sounds like we are gonna have a good crew this year!
I agree it should be a very "Kushy" time this year!

Yeah, it's getting a little squirrely around these parts. I thought Kuwait would be spared some of this crap, but we've had demonstrations the past two days. Qatar is probably the most stable of the bunch, so I wouldn't expect anything there. My son lives in Qatar and he says most of the Qataris are pissed at the rest of the Gulf countries for screwing up the whole area!

All this middle East situation had to happen somehow. The problem I see is how people are gonna deal with "freedom" now that they have it. Egypt has been closed for business the last three days, banks included. everyone wants a raise all of a sudden. I hope everything gets sorted soon!

I flew in there about a year ago (and went to western Tennessee, which is even scarier). They're a different breed.
