Endurance racing, at least on four wheels, to me is the ultimate expression of reliability and stamina.  The guys that do Le Mans...fucking machines.

Matt...what kinda seats are we talking for a Cowgirls game?  I mean, shit, nosebleeds for a Viqueens game at the 'Dome are like 20 bucks.  Pretty cheap if you manage to sneak in your own beer.

Thing is Mike, the dark beers are so heavy...I can't drink but one or two Guiness (for example) with out getting sick.  That and it seems my local store doesn't carry many porter/stout beyond the Guiness range.  Apparently dark beer hasn't caught on with the local connoisseur's yet.

And Gary like you I cannot understand the mentality around here and elsewhere...most people, including my father, swear by one particular shit brand and everything else sucks.  He drinks Michelob Golden Draft Light, which, by American Piss standards is not real bad, but I'd rather explore what is out there rather then deciding on one and giving up.

Also, seems to me, that the hoppier, the better is the mantra with beer producers in the US, whether it be mass produced or micro.  I think it comes down to the fact that Sam Adams is the status quo when you ask a brewmaster at a micro, and going by the Sam ads, Hops is king.  I tend to disagree.  It's definitely important, but it's not the end all be all.  In fact, I'd like them to actually stop putting so much emphasis on Hops.

Apriliarider (sean) seems to be a beer freak...Gary knows his his beers...and I'm a beer nut...seems relevant to start a thread on the Nectar of the Gods.

Bought some Grolsch Premium Pilsner tonight.  Good pilsner, IMO.  A bit like Foster's, only not as shitty.

Plus the swingtop bottle is interesting.

Same here.  As I said day of the incident I believe that both riders were at fault with Simoncelli bearing the brunt or majority of it.  Pedrosa is not without fault by any means.

Fucking right.  GP NEEDS action in the worst way, and Simo is just the man for the job.  Case closed in my mind, that Simo is at fault for LeMans, and it SUCKS that Dani is out for Catalunya, as GP needs all the bikes it can get.  Just an unfortunate happening.  As they say, "jus' one of 'dem racin' deals."
