Nah, Sorry Graystroke.
Being an Aussie I've only ever worn Beattie, Doohan or Stoner replica's(don't even think of mentioning WG, he's a wanker).
I'm sorry to say that I still haven't ridden it as yet.
I'll be buying some new leathers, lid, boot's, gloves, tyre warmers, stands etc etc. Hopefully soon.
I was hoping to maybe have made it to Phillip Island for their afterburner trackday the thursday after the Superbikes, but it doesn't look like it'll happen again(the story of a small business owner).
I did buy another R1 the other day. a 2000 with 32,000km on the clock. It'd been damaged in transit(only cosmetics) and his insurance got him all new body work, tank and all.
I've seen a copy of the invoice that was for $8325.00 in replacement original parts.
I bought it for $3000.00 and it rides like it's just been run in. This bike would still be worth $7-7500.00 here, so it was quite the bargain.
Don't know what one would be worth in the US. But concidering were I live, the frieght cost to get one to me from a Capital city would be anywhere from $1500-2000.00 so I thought it was a bargain.
