That's normal to induce the patient into a coma. Heavy sedation slows vitals allows them to rest and recover easier. Sounds like the EMS staff were on their mark in immobilization and treatment and transportation!

Wine is gay.

Says the young man who has yet attend a MotoGP race. Outside of Minnesota there are people that drink wine. Hell if you knew what you were doing you might even meet some pretty young ladies and get a conversation over different wines. Never mind in ten years it will make sense to you.

I spoke with Snr on the phone today. Today he sounded a bit better but is still trying to recover from being very ill. There is a slight chance that he may attend the Austin race! Try to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.  ;)

If Ben started cycling, especially on the international stage, I'd watch.

I would also but he will never race at the level of say Bradley Wiggins or Cadel Evans. Ben racing Cat1-2 is different than racing with a Pro license and racing races like Paris- Roubaix or Ghent-Wevelgem.They are gifted like Ben is to motorcyle road racing. Cal Crutchlow is a good cyclist also. Talked to him after Laguna last year at his motorhome and later saw him out on Pacific Coast Hwy doing a training ride after racing the GP event!

#15406 Ducati Civil War

I find it ironic that if you read Rossi's autobiography when he was chosing which team to go to which ended up being Yamaha he was hesitant to go to Ducati because he felt that they were the same as Honda with their philosophy of the bike comes first instead of the rider. I think all they did was build an aluminimum frame and stuck the engine into it! I doubt they veered away from their 90 angle approach.

#14572 US Presidential Election - 2012 Edition

Unfortunately even if Ron Paul did become president how effective would he really be? I will always blame both the congress and senate for also causing the decline of the actual effectiveness of our government. They piggyback items onto bills that wouldn't have a chance on it's own of passing. They have no term limits, and don't use the same retirement system we do. Why change anything?
