Dan, seen them with a couple of fill ins since and the latest guy is fkin awesome and is very irwinesque in his solos etc. I loved it regardless. And live its still just a massive wall of guitars, sensational.
On another note I get to see nuno and kotzen next year when kotzen supports extreme on an oz tour

I don't care for Stoner much myself, but fuk me if I don't love the way he just comes out and says what he thinks, and fuk anyone who takes offence. LOL If Colin said the stuff he is, and let's face it, Col has said plenty over the years, all of which we ALL agreed with at the time, we'd all be circle jerkin over how great it is he speaks his mind. Now, I agree, Stoner's way to do that sounds moany and makes him look the whiney bitch that he is. BUT ya can't argue with what he is saying, not at all................... and I applaud that he says it. I also applaud his decision to walk away, that he is bored shitless and he does so knowing that he won a title on a bike Rossi couldn't get on to the top step of the podium let alone to a championship, that same bike Rossi and Burgess said they'd sort in a heart beat and that Casey wasn't riding hard enough................... ( I love the selective memory on so many people about this shit, just swept away and now it's all "Ducati is so bad, it's not Rossi's fault. hahahahahaha) and he then did it on the Honda proving it wasn't just the bike that he was suited to etc. (remember tyres weren't an issue like they once were)
Why stay? Life's too short, he did what he set out to do, of which one was presumably, to make Rossi look like the premadonna tool that he always was. Mission accomplished. Haha
